The Creative Club | fabfab GmbH, the company behind the brand stoffe.de and eleven other European online shops for fabrics and sewing supplies, filed for insolvency with the Local Court of Pinneberg on October 7, 2025. A preliminary insolvency proceeding is currently pending. The company’s business operations are continuing without restriction.
The filing follows the withdrawal of further financing by investors. “This decision legally required us to file for insolvency. However, this does not mark the end of the company, but rather an opportunity to restructure and realign our business,” explains Victoria Herzog, Managing Director of fabfab GmbH.
In the coming months, the focus will be on continuing and stabilizing operations. The company plans to optimize existing processes and establish new structures to ensure the long-term preservation and strengthening of the company.
“Our top priority is the continuation of the company and our country-specific online shops. All employees are working with full commitment and dedication to secure the future of the company and find a sustainable solution,” the management team adds.
All twelve online shops, including stoffe.de, will remain open, and all existing and new customer orders will continue to be processed and shipped as usual.
